How might you use this in your science class next year?

well it was useful because i was able to do some research on another country and found out some interesting facts about their history.

this was good because i see my kids using it to work in groups and feeling a sense of teamwork also they could find out information that's useful in this type of settings.

well being that you have to create a website i see kids enjoying the fact that they accomplished something. many kids go to websites but never really had a chance to create their own.

Today we watch the digital stories that were awesome i really enjoyed watching our classmates presentations. I will definately use this type of assignment in the my class i beleave the kids will us this and like it.

what kinds of posting do people tend to make in a blog?

well people do all types of post in a blog. some people write a long story..some people get straight to the point..some people write a novel. some people write a summary. it all depends on the type of writing style of the individual.

9th class 4/24/07

this class was one of the more interesting classes in which we learned how to work a smart board. it was very good to see the basics of the smart board but the harsh reality is that i wont be able to use one with my kids anytime soon. but it was cool to see how it operates and i do look forward to using one in the near future in all my classroom's..keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

8th class 4/17/07

we had a long break from class. spring break was fun and it was kind of hard to get into the flow of class. we started to learn about visual literacy where we had to guess a country by what people say about it. this exercise was interesting with adults bu t i don't think i could use it with my students. i believe they lack the maturity for this type of assignment to work correctly.

7th class 3/20/07

Todays class was good. we started to learn how to use the google page creator to make websites. google pages is very easy to use surprisingly.we als.o continued to work with our groups doing the culture quest. overall class was good. nice presentations by our fellow classmates also.

6th class 3/13/07

this class was very interesting i thought that the presentation i did on powerpoint went well. i also enjoyed the other presentations done by the students who went that night. this class is interesting and im continuing to work on the culture quest...webquest...digital story it is all coming together and i am very interested in finalizing the projects for the final outcome./
